Oh, god. I should stop watching too much of cozy tech YouTube because now I want a flip phone. Having adult money does this to you. I'm putting it off though, with the Canada Post strike and two full-time job offers falling through. Perhaps I'll buy one after I move into the 2-bedroom apartment of my dreams and when I'm physically in Japan.

I love old tech. I love single-purpose devices. I love the nostalgia they bring me.

I'm so very tempted to buy a PS Vita from Zenmarket. I could buy two of the color I want for ~$350 incl shipping, keep the better one, and sell the other for $200 to $250. (Maple leaf dollars)

Neither Kijiji nor FB Marketplace have any ones up for a reasonable price. I want the 2000, not the 1000 OLED, and I don't want the bright aqua blue variant. I don't want to bother selling included games.

I have savings so will not hurt if I get it. Spending hard-earned adult money is hard for me, however. Ugh. I traded in my old lime green PS Vita to a local store and in hindsight was ripped off. My top concern is that I'll get charged customs fees. At least Zenmarket has the option to select a courier; no way in hell am I choosing DHL again after the fiasco with my documents.

One seller in my city has the black 2000 for $350. For that price, I might as well as go with the Zenmarket option. With this level of fixation, I'll go crazy before I even step foot in Japan this holiday season (provided plans with my family push through).

EDIT: I've placed the bids. One of the Vitas still has three days to go for its auction. Let's hope I at least get it for less than the buyout hahah

Reading: The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows. I actually saw it on Crunchyroll first, got bored from the first episode, then decided to see if the manga was different. It's trope-y, but a fun and lighthearted read. Nothing too serious.

Writing: I finished a quick double drabble for @fic_promptly. Dress Up is a 200-word one-shot about AOT Reiner putting on the Training Corps uniform for the first time. Nice way to warm up the fingers and getting the creative juices flowing as I go about rewriting Humanity's Rage.

Gaming: Atelier Sophie is a cute and cozy game. With the recent implosion of Infinity Nikki, I stumbled upon this game on Steam's recommended page. After watching a YouTube video about the different Atelier series, I gave Sophie a try and don't regret it one bit thus far.
